Anna is an experienced academic specialist and advisor with nearly six years of tutoring experience across a broad range of essay-based subjects. She has supported students from 7+ and 11+ level through to A-Level, with particular expertise in English, History, Politics, Geography, Psychology, Sociology, and the wider social sciences.

A graduate of Durham University, Anna has completed a Master’s in International Affairs and Law in Berlin and is currently undertaking a traineeship in Brussels. Her academic background gives her a strong understanding of both the demands of essay-based subjects and the connections between different disciplines, allowing her to provide thoughtful and well-rounded academic support.

Anna specialises in developing students’ essay writing, exam technique, critical thinking, and ability to approach unfamiliar questions with confidence. Alongside subject-specific tuition, she works closely with students to build independence, resilience, and the academic skills needed to make a successful transition to further study and university.

Her own experience of competing in professional swimming during her A-Levels and rowing for Durham University gives Anna a strong understanding of the pressures students face when balancing academic performance with demanding commitments. She brings a calm, encouraging approach to her work, helping students develop both the academic capability and confidence to perform at their best.
